From October 3rd to 14th, 2016, GSDI South Africa led its first training session for adhesive film application in order to better respond to growing demands in the region.
This new team - consisting in three technicians and one supervisor - will meet the needs of GIBELA, ALSTOM's South African subsidiary, regarding the renewal of its trains' signage and livery.
Confident in GSDI application's abilities and quality work, Gibela-Alstom had turned to GSDI as early as the attribution of this gigantic market by PRASA (South Africain railways), in 2013. The achievement of the first 20 train carriages will likely lead to other collaborations regarding the remaining fleet of 580 trains.
Furthermore, the BOLLORE Group choose GSDI South Africa to conduct the internal and external signage uniformization of its whole fleet in Africa, and for all types of vehicles (trucks, cars, trains, industrial vehicles in ports, etc.). An ambitous challenge with various action fields and whose early stages will lead GSDI South Africa in Botswana, Namibia and Zimbawe.
